TachMinder is a supplemental record-keeping tool. It does not replace the official aircraft maintenance records required by 14 CFR 91.417. Aircraft owners and operators remain solely responsible for maintaining complete and accurate official records.
TachMinder tracks both tachometer (tach) time and Hobbs meter time. These are different measurements:
