Provider plans and staff

TachMinder's provider side has three plans — Free, A&P Pro, and Shop — sized for a solo mechanic taking a look, an independent A&P running a client base, and a shop with staff. This guide covers what each includes and how the provider settings work.

Free — $0

• Request access to client aircraft
• 5 submissions per month
• Single login

Free is enough to connect to a client's aircraft and see whether the shared-record workflow fits how you work.

A&P Pro — $49/mo or $490/yr

• Unlimited submissions
• Create "managed" aircraft profiles for clients not yet on TachMinder — these auto-link when the owner joins (see Getting connected to a client's aircraft)
• AI PDF reports
• Full work history
• Client management dashboard
• Single login

Shop — $99/mo or $990/yr

Everything in Pro, plus:

• Up to 5 staff logins
• Shop admin dashboard
• Bulk work-order import
• Client aircraft portal links — a shareable read-only portal for a managed client

Monthly vs. annual billing

Annual billing saves about 17% — effectively two months free ($490/yr instead of $588 for Pro, $990/yr instead of $1,188 for Shop). You can switch between monthly and annual from the billing settings. Full pricing lives at /pricing.

Paid tiers start with a 14-day free trial, no card required. During a provider trial, AI document parsing is capped at 25 parses; it becomes unlimited on any paid plan.

Provider settings

   Business profile

   Your business name, phone, whether you operate as an Individual A&P or a Shop, and your certificate number. This is the identity that travels with your submissions.

   Staff management (Shop tier)

   On the Shop plan, add or remove staff by email — up to 5 logins working under the shop's account.

   Plan and billing

   Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or switch between monthly and annual billing.

Signing in

Sign-in is social login — Google, Apple, or Microsoft — so your name and email come from that account. There's no separate TachMinder password to manage.

Which plan fits?

If you're an independent A&P submitting more than a handful of entries a month, Pro pays for itself in managed profiles and unlimited submissions alone. If you have employees or want clients on a read-only portal, Shop is the tier built for it. And if you're just evaluating, Free connects you to real client aircraft with no card required.
